What We Believe and Why

  • We believe in Salvation through confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe that Jesus is the only way to God. (Acts 4: 12; Romans 10:9-10;John 14:6)

  • We believe that there is only one living and true God. There are three persons (Holy Trinity) in the Godhead: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis I: I; Matthew 28: 19; I John 5:7)

  • We believe that God created man in His own image. (Genesis 1 :27)

  • We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired Word of God (II Timothy 3: 16; II Peter 120-2\)

  • We believe in eternal security and that we become new creatures when Christ enters our life. (Romans 8:38,39; 2 Corinthians 5: 17)

  • We believe Jesus Christ, conceived of the Virgin Mary, is the only begotten Son of God and that He lived a sinless life. Jesus was crucified. buried and rose from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor. (Luke 1:26-37; Matthew 27:37-54; Mark 16; Hebrews 4: 15-16)

  • We believe in water baptism by immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Baptism is the outward expression of an inward change. (Matthew 28: 18-19)

  • We believe in divine healing for the body However, we encourage and do not condemn medical science. (Acts 5: 15,16; James 5: 14-15)

  •  We believe in partaking of the Lord's Supper as a body of believers in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice. ( Corinthians 1:23-30)

  • We believe in the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. (Acts I: 10-11; I Thessalonians 4: 13-18)

  • We believe those who do not accept Jesus as their Lord will be punished in an eternal Hell, but those who die and are saved shall share in His glory in Heaven forever. (Daniel 12:2; Matthew 25:46; Mark 16: 16)

  • We believe that God ordained marriage between one man & one woman, and we promote strong family values. (Genesis 2: 18.21-22; Matthew 19:5; Ephesians 6: 1-4; Hebrews 13:4)

  • We believe in fulfilling the Great Commission set forth by Jesus. (Matthew 28: 19-20; Mark 16: 15)
